A Beautiful Day at HLTC ’t Melkhuisje: The First Official Cowball Tournament

It was one of those days where everything just clicked.

Under a bright Dutch sky, HLTC ’t Melkhuisje transformed into the beating heart of a brand-new tennis experience: the very first official Cowball tournament.

From the moment the players arrived, the energy was undeniable. A warm welcome, buzzing courts, and an atmosphere that felt both competitive and electric. Some of the best tennis players in the Netherlands stepped onto the court — and they didn’t come to take it easy.

Across 11 high-intensity matches, Cowball proved exactly what it was meant to be: fast, dynamic, and built on pure teamwork. Rallies flew, cheers echoed, and strategy met instinct in a format where every point counts and every second matters.

There were smashes, comebacks, unbelievable rallies — and above all, connection. Between players, teams, spectators, and the spirit of something new being born. With our first winners Sam Bakker and Elgin Khoeblal we kicked off an amazing tournament.

This was more than just a tournament.
It was Cowball’s first real chapter — and the beginning of a movement.
